'05 Io Classic
Are you looking for a bold wine? Something new to try that isn't Napa Cab, however has just as much structure and power? Then Io is it.
Our flagship wine, the 2005 Io is predominantly Syrah (92%), supported by small amounts of Grenache and Mourvèdre. It is concentrated, complex,
and exceptionally well balanced on all levels. Aromas of strawberry, blackberry pie, dark plum and earth are accented by white pepper, brown spice
and toasty smoke. The ripe flavors and rich concentration are neatly framed by rounded tannins and great natural acidity. This is a silky, sexy,
powerful wine that boasts a long, opulent, resonating finish.

'06 Byron Historic Vines Chardonnay
There are only a handful of vineyard sites in California that can boast old and original rooted Chardonnay. Byron is one of them. Taste history in a
bottle, you won't be disappointed.
The Historic Chardonnay is made from the original 14 rows of the Nielson Vineyard. With very low yields, the wine from these vines is packed with flavor.
Handcrafted using the gentlest winemaking techniques possible in our multi-level, gravity-flow winery, this Chardonnay was 100% barrel fermented with
100% malolactic fermentation. During this time, the barrels were hand-stirred once a week to enhance texture, complexity and longevity. This wine is
unfiltered.
The 2006 Historic Chardonnay has floral, citrus and wet stone aromas. The palate is dense and mineral with rich, extracted texture and firm structure.
It is smoky and spicy, with great focus and an underlying power.
